Eliot's letters to his American cousins are chatty and affectionate. After World War II, the Misses Lamb sent supplies of meat and eggs to Eliot in England, which he gratefully acknowledges. Other letters discuss his health and travels, family and friends, lectures and readings, and performances of his work. With photographs and a pencil sketch of Eliot by Aimée Lamb. Collection also includes letters to Theresa Garrett Eliot (Eliot's sister-in-law) from Valerie Eliot, and letters from T.S. Matthews regarding a biography of Eliot. Two typed notes from Eliot to Annie Lawrence Lamb, 1933 Jan. 29 and March 5, are on Eliot House (Harvard) stationery. With a collection of 26 original and copy photographs, snapshots, Polaroids and studio photographs of Eliot, Vivienne Eliot, Valerie Eliot, and of Eliot with others, including Theresa Garrett Eliot, Aimée and Rosamond Lamb, and Annie Lawrence Lamb; and a folder of 12 clippings from newspapers and magazines featuring photographs of Eliot.
